Wheeling picks up victory at Evanston

Wheeling’s softball team earned it ninth win of the season with a 6-4 win at Evanston on Thursday. The Wildcats were led on offense by Sara Kern (2-for-4, 2 doubles, RBI), Emily Walker (2-for-4, double) and Anne Janulis (2-for-3, 2 RBI). Kaitlyn DeBusk and Ashley Hafertepe each added RBI for the Wheeling. Katie Quagliano struck out six as the winning pitcher.
