Schaumburg, Germany to visit Schaumburg

Schaumburg’s nearly 30-year-old Sister Cities relationship with the county of Schaumburg, Germany will bring eight German visitors to the village from Friday, May 18 through Sunday, May 27.

Most of the visitors are officials of either the county of Schaumburg or the village of Buckeburg. Some of their activities will include tours of Schaumburg village departments, the Schaumburg Township District Library, St. Peter Lutheran Church and School, Roosevelt University, Volkening Heritage Farm, Spring Valley Nature Center and a trip to Chicago.

The visitors will stay with volunteer host families.
