Repairs will shut down Cary railway crossing Wednesday

The railroad crossing at Three Oaks Road in Cary will be shut down for most of the workday Wednesday during repairs.

Union Pacific Railroad will perform an emergency repair on Three Oaks Road from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., according to village officials.

The railroad is repairing two at-grade rails that have sustained damage, officials said.

Detour signs will be posted before the closure.
