Township High School District 214’s recommended instructional materials and media is available for public viewing from May 15 through May 28. Students will use the adopted materials and textbooks in the context of an approved course, and the same materials and textbooks will be used wherever the course is taught throughout the school district.

The recommended materials have been reviewed and approved by the selection committee, which is composed of school division heads and district administration. Anyone may inspect the recommended textbooks or instructional materials in accordance with the procedures established by the superintendent. (105 ILCS 5/28-19.1)

The recommended adoptions for 2012-2013 will be on public display at the Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights. Contact Pam Pilafas at (847) 718-7672 for an appointment.

The evaluation and selection of instructional materials and media have been completed in accordance with the Illinois School Code.
