Saint Mary celebrates with outstanding Graduate

Saint Mary Parish has the honor of welcoming newly ordained Father Robert Krueger to celebrate mass on Saturday, May 12th at 4:30pm. Father Krueger is very familiar with Saint Mary Parish. He attended and graduated from Saint Mary School. While at Saint Mary school he was your typical young boy, excelling in piano, partaking in the school musicals, singing in the teen choir, selling popcorn for the Cub Scouts and advancing through the ranks of Boy Scout. Upon graduating Krueger attended Stevenson High. He received his degree in music education from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. After graduating in 2006 he went directly into the seminary at University St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, IL.

Father Krueger is one of fourteen new priests being ordained by Francis Cardinal George, OMI, Archbishop of Chicago, at Holy Name Cathedral, Chicago, IL. His first assignment will be at St. Bede the Venerable, Chicago. Congratulations to Father Krueger on this outstanding accomplishment. Saint Mary Parish is honored to host his first Mass and very proud of our graduate. The community wishes Father Krueger all the best.
