TopGolf Wood Dale is offering camps for kids

Registration is open for all summer sessions of TopGolf Wood Dale’s Junior Camps, which are offered in one-week sessions from June through August.

For the fifth year in a row, certified instructors will teach juniors ages 6 to 15 the game of golf through TopGolf’s unique technology-based games.

The first of nine, one-week sessions begins Monday, June 11, and the final session wraps up Friday, August 17.

“Mini” golfers will spend five days improving their swing, playing TopGolf and meeting new golf buddies.

TopGolf’s certified instructors work with each camper regardless of skill level and aim to give each child a lifelong love of the sport.

The TopGolf Junior Camp aims to teach the fundamentals of the full swing, pitch, chip and putt, all the way up to nine holes on the golf course. Students also will have the opportunity to compete for prizes using TopGolf’s microchip technology.

Learning and understanding golf rules and etiquette is an important theme throughout the camp, with a goal of instilling the respect, tradition and sportsmanship of the sport.

The one-week camps run 9 a.m. to noon Mondays through Fridays, June 11-15; June 18-22; June 25-29; July 9-13; July 16-20; July 23-27; July 30-Aug. 3; Aug. 6-10 and Aug. 13-17. The cost is $199 per week, which includes TopGolf games, snack and lunch.

Registration is required. For details, call (630) 595-4653, ext. 1033, or visit topgolf.com.
