Coast Guard safety classes scheduled

U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 7-11 has scheduled two remaining boating safety classes this spring.

Each class consists of two mandatory sessions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on consecutive Saturdays. The first class will be held May 12 and 19 at Bald Knob Marina, 515 Bald Knob Road in Johnsburg. The second class will take place June 9 and 16 at West Marine, 63 W. Rand Road in Arlington Heights.

The cost is $35 per individual or $50 per family. Participating children must be at least 12 years old. To register, call Marlene at (630) 860-2975.
