New consignment boutique opens in Mt. Prospect
Mount Prospect is excited to announce the opening of a new consignment boutique – AZ Unique Boutique, located at 2027 E Euclid Ave. Mount Prospect is a quality, upscale consignment boutique and resale store for savvy shoppers.
Owner Ania Zyworonek opened the store in part due to environmental considerations. “First and foremost I am pro recycling and I love it. My slogan is: Think Global! Think Green! Shop Resale! I know that is easier said than done but I think people a lot of time don't even bother to take their no longer wanted items that are still in great shape to Salvation Army where someone else could take advantage of it but rather throw it away,” said Zyworonek.
“I think given opportunity to make some money people will reconsider what they do with their no longer wanted items and at the same time someone else is given the opportunity to enjoy something new to them for a great price.”
The shop offers designer resale items and quality fashion for the whole family. You will find labels ranging from Banana Republic, Ann Taylor and Nine West up to the finest selection of luxury items from designers such as Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada and more!
AZ Unique Boutique carefully hand-selects each item that enters the showroom to ensure that it meets our standards of enduring quality and style. Many of the items are brand new. The shop marks items down monthly and has two sales every year.
They specialize in fashionable clothing, jewelry and accessories. However, you will find great toys, baby gear and household items as well. The store also offers fundraising either for a cause or charity of choice.
“In my family we always tried to recycle, glass was put with glass containers, paper with paper and plastic with plastic. This was natural. I love to go to rummage sales or garage sales to find my “treasures”. Isn't there a saying, one person's trash is someone else's treasure? I believe in it,” Zyworonek said.
