Torres decision coming Saturday

Phoenix bad boy Raffi Torres had his day in court with NHL top cop Brendan Shanahan on Friday in New York, but a decision on a possible suspension for Torres' hit on Marian Hossa in Game 3 won't be announced until Saturday.

Duncan Keith, like the rest of the Hawks, is just waiting for word from the league office.

“I haven't really thought about (what Torres' punishment should be) to be honest with you,” Keith said. “Obviously I don't like see Hoss down on the ground and not with us, so it's tough in that aspect.

“I think the league, all these suspensions and plays are tough jobs for them to decide on the punishment. I've always respected what they've done and we have confidence they'll do a good job.”

Hossa did not make the trip to Phoenix with the team.

“He's the same,” Joel Quenneville said of Hossa's condition.
