Tri-State work starts Monday

Traffic shifts and splits on the Tri-State Tollway between Lake-Cook Road and Half Day Road will begin overnight on Monday, April 23. The $8.1 million project involves concrete repairs between Lake-Cook and Half Day, as well as between Atkinson Road and Route 176 (Rockland Road). Lane closures will be limited to overnight hours. Traffic shifts and shoulders will be used to keep four lanes in both directions open during the day. The shifts and splits between Lake-Cook and Half Day will provide a long-term work zone.
