Three tenants renew leases for Duke Realty properties

CHICAGO — Three longtime tenants in three of Duke Realty Corp.’s industrial properties in Chicago have recently committed to remaining in their space through lease renewals and expansions.

The three transactions, which total more than 405,089 square feet, bring all three properties to 100 percent occupancy.

WinCup, a manufacturer of foam disposable cups, bowls, containers and lids, has renewed its 150,000-square foot lease in 1250 Carolina Drive in West Chicago. Marat Safir with Taurus Realty represented WinCup in the transaction, while Susan Bergdoll, Vice President of Leasing represented Duke Realty.

Birger Christensen, a Scandinavian clothing retailer, will remain in its 36,625-square foot space at 4160 Madison St. in Hillside. Susan Bergdoll represented Duke Realty in this deal.

With this expansion, increases its leased space by 62,760 square feet and is now leasing 218,464 square feet of space in Carol Stream IV, located at 815 Kimberly. David Bercu of Colliers International represented Niven in the transaction, while John Cassidy and Ken Franzese of Lee & Associates and Ryan O’Leary, Vice President of Leasing for Duke Realty represented the landlord.
