Bring your kites to Palatine’s Flying 4 Kids

Palatine Park District presents Flying 4 Kids at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Margreth Riemer Reservoir, Palatine and Quentin roads, Palatine.

Bring your kites to the park and join the community for this 7th annual event, which is part of a series of statewide kite flies that were created in an effort to raise awareness of parks, recreation and the park district Youth License Plate program. The event will include free kite kits to the first 50 children.

This event is presented in conjunction with the Palatine Kiwanis Club, who will be on hand at its kite repair booth, staffed by Kiwanis Club kite repair experts.

Kiwanis is an international organization dedicated to community service. For details about the club, call (847) 701-4554 or visit www.palatinekiwanis.com.
