Investigation of bus driver in D220 continues
The criminal investigation of a school bus driver accused of inappropriately touching a student from Barbara Rose Elementary School in South Barrington is expected to take at least a few more days, South Barrington Police Chief Michael Deegan said Thursday. The driver, an employee of Barrington Transportation Co., has been placed on leave but has not been charged. The inappropriate contact was said to have occurred late last week and was reported to Barrington Unit District 220 officials Monday. South Barrington police and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services are jointly investigating the allegations.
