Submitted by Miracles for Moose
A “Miracles for Moose” benefit hockey game will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at the Leafs Ice Centre, 801 Wesemann Drive, West Dundee.
It will feature a special presentation from the Silver Leafs Synchronized Skating Teams.
After the game, there will be a free one-hour public skate and then meet at Sponsors Bar and Grill, 10400 S. Route 47, Huntley, for lunch and a silent auction.
Auction items include a Chicago Bears football laser signed by the 2012-13 team, a Chicago Bulls basketball signed by the 2012-13 Bulls team, Chicago Wolves hockey tickets and more. All proceeds and donations will go to the Miracles for Moose Foundation.
The Miracles for Moose Foundation was founded to help 18-year-old Anthony “Moose” Mustari, in his battle against a rare form of leukemia. The 2012 Prairie Ridge High School graduate was diagnosed soon after graduation and has so far endured months of hospitalization, radiation, chemotherapy and recently, a bone-marrow transplant.
Join this last fundraiser of the year to help with the medical expenses faced by the Mustari family.
