President less than upfront on pipeline

Mr. President, to call you a liar would be disrespectful, and therefore I won’t. However, I consider it disingenuous when you go to Oklahoma and claim to speed up the review of the Keystone XL pipeline’s southern leg.

Mr. President, your priorities will not impact this pipeline, because you have no control over it; therefore, your visit to Cushing, Okla., was strictly symbolic with the intent to deceive the public. If you are sincere about the Keystone pipeline, approve the portion that would come from our neighbor and friend Canada, then you would remove all sense of falsehood in your intentions and the people would believe that you truly want to lower the gas prices.

Please don’t fabricate a deceptive picture of you surrounded by stacks of pipes awaiting assembly as if it would solve our gas problem, because it won’t.
