Contractor hired for Vernon Hills H.S. pool repairs

The Libertyville-Vernon Hills Area High School District 128 board on Thursday approved a contract for repairs to the swimming pool at Vernon Hills High School.

Continental Construction Company of Evanston will be paid $41,600 for the work, which should take 10 days to complete.

Repairs are needed to the pool’s drain system to meet state and federal safety requirements. Similar work also is needed at the Libertyville High School pool.
