Just spend your way into savings
Thank you, Ms. Froma Harrop (March 19), for showing me the way to better living through higher gas prices. A mere three years ago the left was all up in arms about gas slightly over $2 a gallon here in Illinois (or more recently, a $5 bank fee), now three years later, over $4 a gallon is something to embrace. If liberals can’t confiscate wealth, they sure have an opinion on how I should spend. If I buy a new car at $20,000 or more, I’d save $4,000 in fuel costs. Hurray!
Anyone now wonder how this country got $15 trillion to $18 trillion in debt with logic like that?
