Waukegan Road paving starts next week

The contractor for the Route 22 widening project is scheduled to pave the new southbound lanes of Waukegan Road in Bannockburn the first week of April.

Work is tentatively scheduled to begin Wednesday, April 4, weather permitting. Motorists should expect increased travel times while traveling through the construction project.

Two other road projects planned this summer in the village include resurfacing of Wilmot Road from Telegraph Road to North Avenue from April 30 to Aug. 1, and the reconstruction of North Lakeside Drive, scheduled from May 15 to Sept. 30. Visit www.bannockburn.org for more information.
