Spring YMCA classes set to start

It’s time to think spring again at Lake County Family YMCA. Registration for a wide variety of Spring II programs for the whole family at the YMCA’s Vernon Hills and Waukegan branches opens up to the general public on Monday, April 2. It’s the community’s opportunity to sign up for springtime activities that encourage the four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility at Central Lake YMCA, 700 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills, and Northern Lake YMCA, 2000 Western Ave., Waukegan.

Fitness classes offered include ZumbAtomics for kids, Piloxing and Yoga/Pilates. Community members will also be able to register for other activities at the Y such as family swim lessons, martial arts, music lessons, CPR classes and little chef’s classes beginning April 2.

Sign up by April 7 to avoid higher late-registration fees for some classes.

For information, see the online program guides at ymcalakecounty.org or visit either the Northern Lake or Central Lake branch.
