Capture the Spirit Photo Exhibition Calls for Entries

The Brainerd Community Center, Libertyville Days Festival, and the Photo Flash Mob of Lake County are calling for entries for a Photographic Exhibition to be held from 12-4pm on Sunday, June 17th during the Libertyville Days Festival in the Jackson Gym of the Brainerd Building. The focus of the exhibition is ‘Capture the Spirit.' Photographers are invited to submit images which strive to capture the essence of joy, humanity, nature, friendship and the times through their eyes and lens. Entry deadline for the juried show is 6/2/2012. There is a $15 fee for up to 3 entries. Images may be submitted by email or DVD/CD for acceptance. The Libertyville Days Festival is the annual fund-raising event for the Libertyville Civic Center and runs Thursday, June 14th - Sunday, June 17th in downtown Libertyville. The Brainerd Community Center Committee is working to renovate the historic Brainerd Building into a community center where families can experience enrichment through the performing arts, sports, learning, social and civic gatherings.
