Wheaton College Early Christian Studies Spring Lecture by Fr. Thomas Hopko

Fr. Thomas Hopko will deliver a lecture titled "From Shadow to Reality: The Biblical Foundations of Christian Liturgical Worship" at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 22.

Fr. Hopko is dean emeritus of Saint Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary in New York where he taught theology for more than 30 years. Author of numerous books and articles, he was ordained as priest in the Orthodox Church in 1963; Archpriest in 1970; and Protopresbyter in 1995.

The lecture, sponsored by the Wheaton Center for Early Christian Studies, takes place in room 339 of Blanchard Hall, located at 501 College Avenue in Wheaton.
