Philosophy Lecture By Gilbert Meilaender

Religious ethics expert Gilbert Meilaender will deliver a lecture at Wheaton College titled "The Dignity of the Human Person." This lecture is the fifth in the 2011-2012 Philosophy Lecture Series on campus and takes place at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20.

Dr. Meilaender is a professor of theology at Valparaiso University who teaches courses in bioethics, Christian theology, and religious ethics. He is the author of numerous books and articles. His most recent publication is titled Neither Beast Nor God: The Dignity of the Human Person. He serves on numerous boards and is a fellow of the Hastings Center, an institution committed to bioethics research.
