Candidate has skills to fix our problems

I’m lucky enough to come from Wood Dale, a city with a long history of great finances and good business growth so I know a good public official when I see one which is why in the election for Illinois’s 23rd District state senator, Tom Cullerton is the best person for the job.

Tom has balanced budgets as village president of Villa Park. He has implemented policies like his green city initiative that have earned him the respect of Democrats and Republicans alike. He has experience with constituent service, working with politicians, working with proposals for ordinances.

An encyclopedic knowledge of the problems going on is one thing. Actually having the skills to fix those problems is a much better skill. We don’t have time for someone who is going to need on the job training when they get down to Springfield. We need a ready, capable state senator, which is why we need to vote for Tom Cullerton on March 20.
