Long list of qualifications

I know Mike Loftus as a friend and neighbor as well as chairman of the Lisle Township Republican Organization. If you want honesty and professionalism in our government, at the grass roots level, then he is the person you want to elect.

His qualifications are exemplary: 38-year resident of DuPage County and unincorporated Lisle; member, Lisle Unit District 202 school board, 1989-1999; member, DuPage County Zoning Board of Appeals, 2003-present; graduate, University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana; local businessman with 35 years of service; recognized by Lisle Rotary with Distinguished Service Award in 1998; recognized by the Illinois General Assembly for Exemplary Service in 1999; recognized by District 202 for leadership and service in 1999; awarded Master School Board Member by Illinois Association of School Boards in 1996.

Mike has stated that he will not accept the county pension package if elected to the county board, nor will he accept the county insurance package as long as he is employed by his current employer. I am proud to support and endorse Mike for the position of DuPage County Board, District 2.
