Eagle scout and helped on tort reform

As the wife of former DuPage County State’s Attorney Joe Birkett, I have been involved in politics for a long time. However, I have never served in an official role in any campaign, until now. I am proud to be the campaign chairwoman for Chris Hage, candidate for the newly drawn House District 42.

Chris has the knowledge and proven leadership to hit the ground running and help make real, honest change in Springfield. An eagle scout, and a graduate of Illinois Math & Science Academy and U of I, he started his career in 1998 as a DuPage County prosecutor. Chris worked tirelessly in the Child Support Unit going after deadbeat parents, making them take responsibility and saving the taxpayers millions of dollars.

Chris Hage was recruited by Senate Republican leader Frank Watson to serve as legal counsel for the Senate Judiciary Committee. Senator Bill Brady also saw Chris Hage’s work ethic and knowledge in crafting meaningful legislation, including tort reform.

Chris Hage is also honored to have Congressman Randy Hultgren’s endorsement in this race, because he knows Chris has the solid conservative values, knowledge and vision to represent his constituents in the 42nd District. We need help, the taxpayers in the suburbs are hurting.
