Pre-school open house:

The Mundelein Park District and its Learning Center Preschool hosts its annual open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 18. The event is free and all ages are invited. Meet teachers, take a tour, visit the classrooms, see what it’s like to be a preschooler. Free refreshments and more. The Learning Center is at 1016 Diamond Lake Road, between Route 45 and Routes 60/83, in Mundelein. Programs are available for children ages 3 to 5, including half-day prekindergarten. All Learning Center programs are recommended by local school districts for kindergarten readiness. Registration for the 2012-13 school year begins in late March.
