Teen drug use seminar:

A teen drug use seminar is scheduled for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15, in the library of Vernon Hills High School, 145 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. This event will help parents who attend to identify the signs of teen drug use, understand the lasting consequences drug use could have on their teen’s life, and seek help if a teen is found to be using. Presenting information at this seminar, hosted by state Rep. Carol Sente of Vernon Hills, will be representatives from the Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group, the Lake County state’s attorney’s office, and Nicasa, a nationally recognized leader in the field of substance abuse prevention and treatment.
