‘Lead from behind’ mentality has to go
I am sick and tired of the timidity of President Obama and his “leading from behind” mentality. The most sacred symbol of the United States of America is its flag, and the most respectful treatment of a worn-out flag is to burn it. Is it that difficult to comprehend that the burning of the Quran — whether or not the Islamic choice — would have been construed as a respectful disposal as well? In my opinion, that should have been the explanation — not an apology.
On Election Day, let’s choose a leader: “If you are not the lead dog, the view never changes and it really stinks.”
