Enjoy tall tales at sixth annual Tellebration Celebration in Crystal Lake

“Once upon a time …” sets the stage for your imagination at the sixth annual Tellebration Celebration, hosted by McHenry County Conservation District and McHenry County Storytelling Guild, from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at Prairieview Education Center, 2112 Behan Road, Crystal Lake.

Locally renowned storyteller Jim May, along with Andy Talley, Jerry Martin and Fred Berchtold will be spinning yarns to satisfy all ages. So gather around to hear stories about nature, folklore and tall tales and be a part of this worldwide event where storytelling enthusiasts bond together in spirit through simultaneous events held at the same time over the same weekend.

Admission is one nonperishable food item to help stock the McHenry County food pantries for the holiday season. Preregistration is required.
