ComEd sets upgrade projects in Schaumburg

As a result of infrastructure deficiencies causing power outages during severe weather storms in Schaumburg, ComEd will be upgrading the electrical feeders which distribute electrical power from the substation to consumers.

Upgrades in the village expected to be completed by May 15 are at Parkview and Pleasant drives between West Wise Road and Crest Avenue; Stonewall and Morningside courts near Higgins and Plum Grove roads; southwest of Algonquin Road and Palmer Drive; and the north end of Friendship Village.

Landscape restoration is estimated to be completed by the end of June, dependent on weather conditions.
