What to watch: Think all eyes were on Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman at the NHL trade deadline? That was nothing compared to Maple Leafs GM Brian Burke, who said the trade deadline is so intense in Toronto that “it’s to the point where I’m debating whether I do what I do around Christmas … starting our own trade freeze 10 days before. That’s how distracting it is.”

Toronto was on a 1-7-1 skid heading into its matchup Tuesday against Florida. The Hawks will be without Jonathan Toews and Niklas Hjalmarsson. Corey Crawford starts in goal.
