Occupy Naperville needs your help

We want to affirm Tom Rajcan’s recent post: Speak, America, Speak. To this we would add: Occupy, America, Occupy. Why? Because the Occupy movement is making the outrage of the 99 percent visible.

We Occupy Naperville every Saturday morning, but there are far too few of us to bring about the needed change. As we march in protest we are well aware that, even in affluent Naperville, the majority of people are with us.

But they haven’t gotten to the point where they can take this next step. And, perhaps, have never considered these words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: “I have tried to be honest. To be honest is to confront the truth. However unpleasant and inconvenient the truth may be, I believe we must expose and face it if we are to achieve a better quality of American life.”
