Can lost jobs ever be brought back?

This month we are celebrating some good news. Unemployment has dropped to 8.3 percent and 250,000 jobs were added. But now, the bad news that Obama doesn’t want you to know is the country eliminated 2.9 million jobs.

I just want to know if will we ever recover those 2.9 million jobs again.
