Elk Grove man flips car on I-90

A 64-year-old Elk Grove Village man reportedly suffered some type of medical episode which led to his vehicle striking the center wall on eastbound Interstate 90 near Route 53 and rolling over Saturday afternoon.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, which occurred at about 3:35 p.m., Illinois State Police officials said.

The man reportedly suffered only minor cuts and bruises. He was transported to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where he continued to be treated Saturday night for the medical condition that caused the accident, officials said.
