Let’s broadcast animal abuse trials
A great pilot program for television in Illinois’ courtrooms would be cruelty to animal cases. Some of the most vicious, deadly, monstrous and diabolical criminals are animal abusers who torture, maim, traumatize and kill innocent dogs, cats, horses and other animals. These cruel reprobates are the usually the same ilk of humanity who harm innocent humans, too.
Lamentably, very few if any egregious animal abusers and torturers ever receive long prison sentences. If viewers could watch animal cruelty cases on television it would pressure prosecutors and judges to rightfully impose years in prison for these abhorrent culprits who have no respect for life.
