Increased demand drives General Employment revenues up 114 percent

OAKBROOK TERRACE — General Employment Enterprises Inc. reported net revenues for the first quarter of 2012 increased 114 percent primarily due increased demand and the acquisition of two companies.
Net revenues for the period was $12,8 million, compared to $6 million during the same period last year. The company said the increase was due to a 103 percent increase in direct hire placement services because of increased demand, as well as it acquisitions of RFFG Cleveland, LLC and DMCC Staffing, LLC in November, 2010.
Net income for the first quarter ended December 31, 2011 was $23,000 compared to $15,000 for the first quarter ended December 31, 2010.
