TrainSignal releases Cisco CCNP SWITCH training course

SCHAUMBURG — TrainSignal, a global provider of professional computer training, announced the release of its Cisco CCNP SWITCH Training course.

This CCNP video training course, authored by Cisco expert Joe Rinehart, offers complete instruction on the objectives for Cisco’s CCNP SWITCH Exam 642-813. The course features lessons that contextualize Cisco switching concepts for the demands of today’s IT industry while building off solid, foundational theory.

Main course highlights include spanning tree protocol, VLAN fundamentals, interface and port configuration, switch-based security considerations and layer 3 switching solutions.

The CCNP SWITCH training also contains videos on port & interface types: how to configure them, and how to implement high availability for switching.

The course instructor is Joe Rinehart, a Cisco professional with more than 14 years of experience in routing, switching, unified communications, security, and data center technologies. He is a specialized trainer having taught at colleges and in the corporate sector, and has worked for several Fortune 500 companies. He is also the author of TrainSignal’s CCNP ROUTE and CCNA Wireless courses.

“We created this course to provide our customers with a topic that is very popular right now. Someone’s ability to securely integrate VLANs, WLANs, voice, and video into campus networks truly validates their knowledge of Cisco’s campus enterprise architecture,” said TrainSignal Product Development Manager Gosia Niklinski.
