Holocaust Museum sponsors essay contest
High school students are invited to enter the Illinois Holocaust Museum’s 2012 essay contest, “Taking a Stand: Individual Action, Global Impact.”
Students are invited to submit essays of up to 1,500 words addressing the impact of an individual on the Holocaust or other genocide, and how they personally can combat bullying in their communities.
Prizes of $500 to $3,000 will be awarded to winners. All entries are due by Wednesday, Feb. 15.
