Batavia bar and grill hosts fundraiser
Submitted by AID
The Full Moon Bar & Grill in Batavia has been a one-of-a-kind neighborhood hangout for over 20 years. Serving sandwiches and burgers, this local pub has become a staple of the community. But being a member of the community is more than just offering up a local retreat, it also means giving back to the community and the Full Moon Bar & Grill plans to do just that on Saturday, Feb. 11.
Everyone who stops by the Full Moon Bar & Grill on Saturday night will be helping raise money and awareness for the Association for Individual Development, a local nonprofit agency that provides programs and services for more than 5,100 individuals in our communities with developmental disabilities, mental illness, and special needs.
Individuals visiting the Full Moon Bar & Grill will have a number of ways in which they can support AID. Raffle tickets will be for sale with prizes up for grabs that have been donated by local restaurants, salons, bars, and businesses. Guests also can enjoy a Jell-O shot with 100 percent of raffle ticket sales and Jell-O shot sales being donated to AID.
The Full Moon Bar & Grill also will be donating 10 percent of the bar’s sales to AID. Be sure to stop in early and try one of their sandwiches or burgers while enjoying daily drink specials.
In case you needed more reason to come out on Saturday, the Full Moon Bar & Grill will be providing live music starting at 9 p.m. with a lineup of Mike Bowen, Jud, and Unvisioned.
The Full Moon Bar & Grill is located at 113 S. Batavia Ave. (Route 31), Batavia.
The mission of AID is to empower individuals with disabilities, mental illness, and special needs to achieve independence and community inclusion.
