Nerheim not part of political network
It is not often that I feel moved to write in favor of any particular candidate for political office, however in view of the blatant disregard by the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office to charge a man whose reckless and careless operation of a boat placed my children and others’ children in harm’s way, I feel compelled to write in favor of state’s attorney candidate, Mike Nerheim. This past weekend, I made my way with a few others to Dockers in Fox Lake to meet and speak to Mr. Nerheim. I met many of his family and friends and was impressed by the candidate himself as he spoke with my daughter and me about knocking on doors, gathering signatures and meeting the people. Nerheim’s greatest quality beyond a solid work ethic, good case record and charismatic personality? He is not a political insider. He is not tied to the “good ole’ boy” network that has long corrupted Lake County politics, and because of that, will bring fresh ideas and a fresh outlook to the office of Lake County state’s attorney. If one does not vote, one does not have the right to complain. Vote Nerheim.
