Happy to receive holiday gifts

Lake Park Elementary School was on the receiving end of some very special donations recently. The hard working and dedicated volunteers from the Humanitarian Service Project included us in their donations for the 2011 holiday season.

Many boxes were dropped off at our school, ready to be distributed to the students. The gifts each had a ball, book and board game. They were grouped by gender and age. Classes were brought in one at a time to receive the gifts and to take a photo with the gifts in front of a Christmas tree.

We want to extend a very special thanks to those involved, including Paul Yambrovich from The Humanitarian Service Project. We applaud all the wonderful people who participated with the Humanitarian Service Project for all the good they do in the community.

We are truly grateful that our school was one of the recipients for these gifts. Kathleen Husslein
