Ex-Bears kicker to host cooking demo Saturday at Meijer

Former Chicago Bears kicker Kevin Butler will make a special appearance at Meijer in Rolling Meadows to promote healthy cooking.

Butler will be joined by Maribel Alchin, Meijer’s Healthy Living adviser and dietitian, and help host an in-store cooking demonstration at 1 p.m. Saturday for shoppers who are looking for Big Game party meal ideas. Butler also will sign autographs from 2-3:30 p.m. following the cooking workshop.

Due to the popularity of the event, wristbands will be distributed to the first 150 customers in line before the 1 p.m. appearance start. The Rolling Meadows store is located at 1301 Meijer Drive in Rolling Meadows near the intersection of Golf and Algonquin roads.
