1987-91: assistant strength and conditioning coach at University of Tennessee

1985-87: defensive line/strength and conditioning coach at Saginaw Valley State University

1984-85: defensive line coach at Georgetown College

1982-84: offensive line/strength and conditioning coach at Western New Mexico University

1981-82: graduate assistant at Central Michigan University

1981: student assistant at Wayne State University

1978-80: Three-year letter-winner in football at Wayne State University in Detroit
