How could we reject pipeline?
I am ashamed at the decision that this president has made. He rejected the Keystone pipeline. This is the biggest shovel-ready project since he took office. It would create jobs, taxes, and revenue for thousands of people. Why in the world would Mr. Obama say no to that? The pipeline would lessen our dependence on oil from overseas. The pipeline from our friendly neighbor would send over 1 million barrels of oil a day to our country. The Canadian government are scratching their heads right now thinking, what is wrong with them? Why won’t Mr. Obama approve this? There are already thousands of miles of pipelines under our feet right now. This one will be no different than most of the pipes already in the ground. This pipeline has been in the works for three years. It’s been on Obama’s desk since Day One of his presidency. He now says he needs more time to study it? Mr. President, this is no time to play politics. You can’t wait until after the election to make a decision. Canada is now looking for a new buyer for it’s oil in China. Why would the president allow this? Hopefully after the election, this decision will be made by the new president of the United States.
