Slow start stalls Chicago Express

CINCINNATI — The Chicago Express allowed 3 first-period goals and never recovered, falling 4-1 to the Cincinnati Cyclones at the U.S. Bank Arena on Saturday night.

The Express, which was outshot 10-3 in the opening period, got on the scoreboard at 8:58 of the third period when Kyle Ostrow deflected a shot by Josh Burrows.
