Crespo hosts college prep day at Streamwood High School

State Rep. Fred Crespo, a Democrat from Hoffman Estates, is partnering with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission to hold College Preparedness Day on Saturday, Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Streamwood High School, 701 W. Schaumburg Road.

The free event, designed to assist students and parents prepare for higher education, will include a student aid application completion seminar and six smaller breakout sessions ranging from College 101 to breaking down a college application. Each session will be available in both English and Spanish.

Representatives from local institutions of higher education also will be on hand to speak with students and parents and answer questions. For information, call (630) 372-3340.
