Looking ahead in Lakemoor:

The first public meeting to gather input on shaping the future of Lakemoor is set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the public works facility, 333 Wegner Road. The village is partnering with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning on an interactive, community-based process to update its comprehensive plan. The plan will build on assets and provide guidance on decisions such as land use, transportation and housing.
