District 44 Community Businesses of the Year named

State Rep. Fred Crespo, a Democrat from Hoffman Estates, has announced that Dent Mob in Schaumburg and St. Alexius Medical Hospital in Hoffman Estates were selected as this year’s District 44 Community Businesses of the Year for their outstanding work and dedication to improving the local community.

“Both of these businesses displayed a commitment to the district and its residents through its services and charitable work outside of the office,” Crespo said. “I am honored to represent them in Springfield and I hope they continue to display a dedication to giving back to the community.”

Crespo’s Economic Advisory Committee selected St. Alexius Medical Hospital as the Large Business of the Year and Dent Mob, a local auto service and detailing company, as the Small Business of the year. Businesses that demonstrated their dedication to local organizations and the community as a whole were considered for this award. They will be awarded with a House Certificate in recognition of their services.

“This award showcases the importance of working with your local community to develop the local economy and create a friendly atmosphere for its residents,” Crespo said. “Once again, I want to thank both St. Alexius and Dent Mob for their hard-work and commitment to improving the local economy and developing strong relationships with the surrounding community.”
