This picture, of our national bird, was taken over the Fox River in the Carpentersville/Dundee area. There were two Eagles that day and it looked to me like this one was going out to see what its partner was up to. It flew South for a while, came back to its perch in a tree then headed North and didnt return right away. I assume they found each other.
