Barrington area chamber ready for mini-expo

Mark your calendars and plan to attend the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce “Prime Time EXPO: South of the Border” mini-tradeshow, from 5-7 p.m. Feb. 15 at Millrose Restaurant, Banquets and Country Store, 45 S. Barrington Road in South Barrington.

Most chambers host a traditional business expo, but the Prime Time Business Mini-Tradeshow and After-Hours features new chamber members recruited during the annual membership drive event last September.

It also recognizes the chamber’s dedicated volunteers for their membership campaign efforts, which resulted in 64 new members during the campaign, and 240 for the year; ending the year with 900 members of BACC.

BACC expects “Prime Time” to be the largest after-hours of 2012, providing guests with the opportunity to generate leads and develop partnerships with local companies. All BACC members and their guests are invited to this informal evening of networking and entertainment. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served; cash bar available.

The event is sponsored by Double D Graphics in Cary, a one-stop source that specializes in graphic designing, printing, silk screening, embroidery and promotional advertising; and the host sponsor Millrose Restaurants, Banquets and Country Store.
